Industrial Design Problem

As intriguing as the name suggests, GREAT STEP presents you a unique opportunity to get yourself a hands-on experience in making some of the design problems faced currently by the mining and petroleum industries.IDP will be requiring the participants to muster all their knowhow to come up with one hell of an idea and convert it into a design in a very short span which will be a panacea for the burning problem of industry today.So get ready for a challenging surprise problem and show everybody how fast and creative you are.





  • Problem Statement

    There is no Problem Statement for this event.

  • Eligibility

    1. The participant students must be currently pursuing education (undergraduate or postgraduate) in a recognized institute. The participants may be asked to furnish the supporting documents at to prove the forementioned criteria. The competition is wholly created and managed by GREAT STEP - 11 organising team. In other words, students must:

    a) Have played a major role in conceiving the venture,

    b) Have key management roles in the venture, and

    c) Own significant equity in the venture.

  • Event Structure

    1. The competition will be organized in one phase.

  • Rules

    1. Only teams who have registered online would be able to participate.

    2. Students from different colleges can form a single team.

    3. Each team can contain a minimum of ONE (1) and maximum of FOUR (4) participants.

    4. The decision of the judges would be final and binding.

    5. Only Top three teams will get certificate of merit. However other teams would get a certificate of participation.
